Who We Are
OB Farming (Pty) Ltd is a Black Economic Empowerment agricultural enterprise based in Petrusville, Northern Cape, along the Orange River corridor. We are building a sustainable farming operation that combines extensive livestock production with irrigated fodder crops, supported by the Vanderkloof Dam water scheme.
Our mission is to develop a commercially viable, black-owned agricultural business that creates employment, contributes to food security, and demonstrates the potential of transformation in South African agriculture.
What We Do
Livestock Farming
Sheep production on Karoo veld — breeding, growing, and marketing quality animals through established auction and direct-sale channels.
Irrigated Fodder
Lucerne production under the Vanderkloof irrigation scheme — feeding our own livestock and supplying baled fodder to the regional market.
Agricultural Supply
Positioned to supply government and private-sector agricultural tenders across the Northern Cape and Free State.
BEE Partnership
As a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor, we offer maximum procurement recognition (135%) for enterprise and supplier development programmes.

We operate along the Orange River corridor in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa — one of the country's premier agricultural regions.
